PRICING ERRORS:
We are capable of human error. If we have a book listed at $150.00, and many other booksellers have it listed at $15.00, it was probably a mistake. Please email us.
It needs to be remembered, however, that very old books and even quite recent books can command collector prices. If a book was published only five or ten years ago, with a smallish print run, and it is in great demand and short supply, it will probably be highly priced. So, if you are astonished at some pricing, but find our price is consistent with other booksellers' prices for the same book, then we would probably not be very flexible on price.
SO FEW BOOK COVER SCANS!
We only began our own full-function web site with ordering facilities at the start of 2010, after we had built up an on-line list of books of 70,000, listing through ABE and B&C (where, of course, we continue to list).
We will constantly try to add more scans of bookcovers. We apologise if customers become bored by seeing the same scans randomly rotated time and time again! We are only a handful of people. Should we put our effort into unpacking cartons which have remained dormant for 5, 10 or 15 years, or should we do lots of scans?
